How can I get involved?

• Frappr Map: This is one of my favorites, particularly for our large national franchise. Go to this link: http://www.frappr.com/pageantcast (or click on the map at our main page) and follow the onscreen directions. You put a little stickpin in our map and you can even personalize it with a photo! How cool is that?
• Photo Gallery: Speaking of photos, send me an e-mail with photos from your pageant with descriptions and we'll put it at our photo gallery available from the main page or going directly to our Flickr account at http://www.flickr.com/photos/pageantcast/
• MySpace: Like everyone else in the world, I have a MySpace account. We've set up my profile at http://www.myspace.com/tkpnpodcast, but we've added a PageantCast Friends group which includes a forum to discuss past shows.
• E-mail: It's simple! E-mail me. News. Opinions about the show. Ideas for the show. Anything. And we read some of them on the PageantCast! Just e-mail me at pageantcast@gmail.com
• Shout outs: This is the great untapped resource of our show. We have a telephone line that people can call any time of day and leave a message that we will play on our next show! Isn't that cool? Let's say you are at a pageant and Jill Somebody just won Miss Something. You can pop open your cell phone and tell us about it just by leaving a message! Just call at 1-206-339-TKPN. That's 1-206-339-8576.
• Promotional IDs: Want to give your titleholders some exposure?
  Now anyone with a computer hooked up to a microphone can make a promo for the PageantCast. Here's how:
  

  1. Find the blue icon with a bird saying "Send me a Voice Message" right here --->
     
  2. The Odeo message window will appear. Allow Odeo access to your microphone. Fill out the little form (a good subject name would be intro or promo based on which script you use below). Remember to put in your name and e-mail or it won't send the file to me. Click Record and give it a try. Press the Stop button when you are done.
  3. Play the sound it created (by pressing "Play"). If you don't like it, click the little trash can up and to the left of the other buttons. You can record again until you get it the way you like.
  4. When you are happy with your recording, press Send. I'll see it soon and we'll get it on the PageantCast as soon as possible.
     

  If you don't have a mike hooked up to your computer, simply call 206-339-TKPN and leave us a voicemail with the promo. Sound quality is not quite as good, but it really easy!!!
